🎙️ Welcome Message
Welcome to Prompt Lab Day 6,
where we learn about LLM’s extraordinary powers of translation.
🌐 Not Just English to French
No, I’m not talking about English to French —
although LLMs can do that.
I’m talking about translation between different formats*.
📋 Format #1: Long Form → Summary
The first — and probably most useful —
is translating from long form into a summary or bullet points.
🧪 Today’s Prompt Lab Exercise
So today, I would like you to:
🔹 Copy the entire text of an article
(preferably a longer one you wouldn’t otherwise read)
🔹 Paste it into ChatGPT
🔹 And then type:
“Summarize this in 15 bullet points.”
🧠 Test the Limits
To learn just how good ChatGPT is at summarizing, try:
🔸 “Summarize in 3 bullet points”
🔸 Then: “Summarize this in 10 words.”
Bye-bye, information overload.
📚 Use It Everywhere
You can use this for:
📄 Articles
📺 Downloaded YouTube transcripts or videos
📘 Academic studies
…and more.
🎨 Think Beyond Summaries
What I want you to learn, though,
is not just how to summarize —
but to consider this a form of translation.
🈶 It could be turning an article into a haiku
🎨 Turning a journal entry into a watercolor painting
🎭 Make It Yours
Be creative.
This is one to have fun with and cater to your learning style —
whatever that is.
👋 See You Tomorrow
Have fun with this, and I’ll talk to you tomorrow for our final day.
